The first Citizens Police Academy was formed in May 1992 in St. Louis County. The program has become popular with the citizens.
Ten years after its inception the Alumni Association was formed at the suggestion of Colonel Ronald A. Battelle, Former Chief of St. Louis County Police.
November 12, 2002 was the First organizational meeting, and on February 24, 2003 the First officers and Board members
were elected and the Alumni Association was born.
Membership is open to all graduates of the St. Louis County Police Department - Citizens Police Academy program.
